On the following pages, you can view pictures from Sheila's surprise party.  Jen and I decided that for her birthday this year we would bring her son, Paul, and his fiancé, Amanda, here from Ohio as surprise birthday present.  We planned this visit for about six weeks without Sheila knowing anything.  Paul and Amanda left their home at 5:00 a.m. so they could be here before Sheila got home from work.  They arrived at 2:30 and put their car in the garage.  Sheila got home at 4:00.  When we saw her drive up, we had Paul and Amanda hide in a corner of the living room so Sheila wouldn't see them until she came upstairs.  The video camera was rolling and captured Sheila dropping her work bag and her jaw.  Her jaw fell almost to the ground, and it took her a full 10 seconds to regain composure.  Her reaction and the look on her face made it all worth while. The weekend was absolutely perfect, and we all very much enjoyed having Paul and Amanda here to visit.
