Brandi came to me as a 16 week pup. She's an Australian Shepherd that I was lucky enough to acquire for free. Her markings weren't quite perfect for show quality, and I had just lost Sammy, so the breeder took pity on me and gave her to me.

Australian Shepherds are a fairly new breed of working dog. I plan on putting her to work cleaning my house! Personally, I think they were mutts that someone decided to start breeding as a purebred in order to make some money. They have excellent personalities and are very gentle pups. Australian Shepherds don't have a tail, but they don't need one. Brandi is incredibly expressive with the rest of her body, so I hardly miss the tail anymore! She is just one big bundle of love.
